Verdict
Investors who want full platform breadth at lower cost than Hargreaves Lansdown. The £42/yr ISA cap on ETFs and shares makes it especially competitive for portfolios above £17,000 investing in ETFs or stocks.
Passive investors happy using Vanguard's own fund range with portfolios between £32,000 and £250,000 — where 0.15% undercuts most rivals. Above £250,000 the £375/yr cap makes it very competitive. Below £32,000 the £48/yr minimum is higher than InvestEngine's zero fee.
